The author of this blog is Jim Namaste, Director of Business Development at Micro Business Growth, Inc.

Jim started his career as a public policy and management specialist, doing research on long-term, large-scale planning, including resource use and social programs, while teaching at major universities. He also worked at the U.S. National Science Foundation as program manager for educational innovation projects.

Jim’s educational training include philosophy, political science and psychology. He has taught courses in the areas of public management, system theory, technology and methodology. He is the author of numerous studies and papers.

He became interested in business when he started a successful company with a small amount of seed funding. The business grew to $15 million in annual sales by the time he sold his ownership stake. As a result of that experience Jim started studying venture development and financing. He and several business partners have been working for a number of years on the implementation of an ambitious venture development system, with Micro Business Growth, Inc. as the lead company.
